Reaching the Unseen, Serving with Compassion
At SVNM Eye Hospital, we believe that good vision is not a luxury—it is a fundamental right. Unfortunately, many people in rural and underserved communities still live with preventable blindness or untreated eye conditions simply because they cannot afford care or access a hospital. That’s why we have made it our mission to extend our services beyond the walls of the hospital and into the hearts of the community.
Our free community services are designed to bring quality eye care to those who need it the most. Through regular outreach programs, vision camps, and screening drives, we provide diagnosis, treatment, and awareness to individuals who may have never seen a doctor before. From schoolchildren to the elderly, each patient is treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their background or ability to pay.
We organize free eye camps in villages, slum areas, and local schools, where our dedicated team of doctors, nurses, and volunteers offer vision checks, distribute free glasses, and refer patients in need of further treatment or surgery. Many lives have been changed through these programs—children able to return to their studies, workers regaining their productivity, and elders being able to live independently again.
One of the most impactful services we offer is free cataract surgeries for economically disadvantaged patients. Cataract remains one of the leading causes of blindness in India, and yet it is one of the most easily treatable conditions. By identifying patients through our camps and bringing them to the hospital for surgery, we help restore not just their sight, but their confidence and quality of life.
Alongside treatment, we also focus on creating awareness about eye health and hygiene. Educational talks, informational brochures, and local collaboration with schools and community leaders allow us to spread vital knowledge that helps prevent future eye problems.
SVNM Eye Hospital’s community services are not a formality—they are a reflection of our values. We are committed to creating a society where no one suffers in silence due to poor vision. Every free camp, every consultation, and every surgery is our way of giving back, guided by the belief that vision care should reach every eye, everywhere.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the donors, volunteers, and partners who support these initiatives. With your help, we continue to grow our reach, serve more lives, and keep the light of sight alive for all.
