Precision Diagnostics & Imaging         

We are equipped with the latest high‑resolution Optos  OCT  along with OCT Angiography , KOWA fundus camera  for  Fundus photo and  Fluorescein angiography and B scan ultrasonography  for precise imaging to detect retinal diseases early on. 

Advanced Laser treatment

We are equipped with Iridex micropulse laser  with pattern program for painless pan retinal photocoagulation for diabetic retinopathy and LIO ( Laser indirect ophthalmoscopy) for treatment of peripheral retinal lesions like lattice , tears or holes and even  for retinopathy of prematurity

Comprehensive Intravitreal Injection Services:

Our Retina Department offers all types of intravitreal injections — including anti‑VEGF agents (e.g., ranibizumab, aflibercept, brolucizumab, faricimab), corticosteroids, and antibiotics or antifungals — tailored to treat a wide range of retinal and vitreous diseases.

These therapies are used for conditions like diabetic macular edema, age‑related macular degeneration, retinal vein occlusions, myopic CNV, endophthalmitis, and more

Advanced Surgical Treatment

For surgical excellence, we are equipped with 25 gauge microincision vitrectomy systems with Alcon  Constellation vision system  and  Zeiss microscope with resight viewing system complete retinal visualization. This advanced technology ensures faster recovery, minimal discomfort, and excellent surgical outcomes.  Our team also has extensive experience in complex retinal surgeries, including tractional retinal detachments in diabetes, giant retinal tears, recurrent detachments, macular holes, epiretinal membrane as well as scleral fixated IOL.

Divya Drishti ROP Project

Retinopathy of Prematurity is a disease affecting newborns who are born preterm or with birth weight less than 2kg. If not treated on time it can lead to lifetime blindness in a child. We at Swami Vivekanand Netra Mandir are working with the aim that No baby should go blind due to ROP. With this vision we started Divya Drishti ROP Project in South Gujarat using telemedicine approach. Currently with 2 Neo Camera and a team of 4 technicians, we screen 16 NICU across South Gujarat, Saurashtra, Nandurbar and Shahada in North Maharashtra.  We have a team of experienced ROP consultants who provide treatment to these babies with lasers or injections. We are one of the few centers in India where surgical treatment for ROP is done.
